An online bookmaker and gambling platform from Central London, William Hill plc, has been confirmed as the National Basketball Association’s (NBA) next authorized sports partner across the United States.
In the context of this agreement, America’s No. 1 sportsbook will grant access to the league’s betting data and marks, available on both mobile platforms and betting shops in the county. In addition to this deal, William Hill will have the right to promote its brand on NBA’s digital domains including the official site, mobile app and social media platforms.
According to Dan Shapiro, vice president of strategy & business development of William Hill US, the company is very proud of the newly signed arrangement that will benefit all customers and other partners in the US market.
Shapiro added that the professional basketball league serves as the leader for recognizing the advantage of legalized sports wagering and hopes for a long and mutually beneficial relationship with the league’s officials.

Leading the United States Expansion
Following the U.S. Supreme Court’s decision to overturn PASPA back in May 2018, the internationally recognized sports betting brand, William Hill, has led the expansion of wagering on sports in the country. The undisputable industry leader with over 85 years of experience now operates in 10 states including Indiana, Iowa, Mississippi, Nevada, New Jersey, New Mexico, Rhode Island, The Bahamas and West Virginia.
On October 3rd, 2019 William Hill entered into an agreement with Monumental Sports & Entertainment, owner of the Washington Wizards, Washington Capitals and Washington Mystics. This partnership will allow America’s leading sportsbook operator to start a new era of sports betting in the country’s capital, as soon as all the required regulatory approvals have been received.
